Inspired Performers Review film

Infiniti Red Bull Racing: Inspired Performers

Brand: Infiniti cars / Red Bull Racing F1

Year: 2012

To bring to life Infiniti’s emotive ‘Inspired Performance’ narrative and extend awareness through its partnership with championship F1 team Red Bull Racing F1, I created the ‘Inspired Performers’ series. It comprised of three stories featuring F1 drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber performing job swap roles with other experts at the top of their profession.

The films were:

1. A Kung Fu spoof ‘Drive of the dragon’ filmed in Shanghai, China

2. A Red Bull Skydiver stunt ‘ Race against gravity’ filmed in Montreal, Canada

3. A music video, ‘Watch me work’, filmed in New York, USA

The content marketing strategy was omni channel focused and featuring long form and short form content for TV networks, social media, photography and media interviews on set. It was a hugely successful series for the Infiniti brand. My role was strategic development, script writer, Executive producer and producer roles. In China I lead a team of over 60 production cast and crew over a 6 day shoot.

Event Production Case Study

Nissan Navara Truck Global Launch in Thailand

Brand: Nissan / Nissan Navara Pick-up

Year: 2014

Nissan’s Navara truck is the lifeblood of working communities with its tough performance and adaptive character. To highlight Navara’s versatile appeal for both city and rural dwellers, my role was to conceive a global launch and reveal which articulated the trucks dual appeal, and execute its delivery to global press.

Working with PRISM UK and our Oceana team, we selected specialist suppliers for the structural installation. Bangkok, Thailand was selected for the global press launch, and the jungle mountains of Chaing Mai for media experience drives.

My Bangkok role primarily focused on event concept and production design . The Heritage zone, Navara Reveal zone, and Navara Innovation Features zone were created and built to tell the city and country story. I was also responsible for graphics, content and show running as show director to over 600 global journalists across three launch events.

I also led the event production for the Chaing Mai drive experience. We had the challenge of the rainy season and hotel facilities which required a bespoke venue to host media and deliver media briefings. We installed the revolutionary dual ‘Igloo’ structure with two zones. Each zone hosted unique 360 degree content shows further demonstrating the all round capability of the Nissan Navara.
